General quality requirements for aspen logs:

  • Freshly cut, straight, cylindrical saw logs, curvature up to 2%.
  • Does not allow hollows, large cracks, metal inclusions.
  • Basic length of saw logs 3.0m (cutting + >10 cm).
  • Minimum diameter at the thin end 22 cm
  • Coloring of the core is allowed up to ½ of the diameter.
  • Core decay is allowed up to ¼ of the diameter.
